I actually just bought a Conair hair dryer (the actual type is escaping me) but it came with 2 attachments. I use the diffuser to make my hair curlier and it works great. It wasn’t super expensive but it’s great quality.

I have an Elchim and it’s amazing. I gave my heavier salon level Paul Mitchell to my sister…I just found it way too heavy to work with although it was a good dryer. Elchim gives me all the same power in a lighter package. Solano is supposed to be heavy, T3 gets great reviews.

Go to Marshall’s!! I get really nice hairdryers there, I actually bought one today! I had a T3 and it just died on me a few days ago, but I liked it! This one is a Hot Tools Turbo Ionic Salon Dryer, I got it for $30. They had a really nice Chi one but it was $70 Undecided

@Chemist:  I think I have the one you have… it’s like a conair tourmaline or something? I’ve had mine for 4 years and it’s still going strong! I love it

Hot Tools Travel hair dryer with a collapsable head (it’s purple!). This thing is so light and easy to store, but SO powerful! My sis is a hair stylist and I live with her. Ours just went out but we loved it so much we bought another one!

I have looong wavy hair and it dries it in minutes 🙂

I’m a hairstylist, I have a FHI I use professionally and a Conair for personal use. I bought my Conair from Target about 2 months ago after the one I had for 6 years died on me.

I have a Chi hairdryer. They can be pretty expensive, but I have a super thick, coarse mane of hair and it dries my hair at least 20 minutes faster than a $30 hair dryer, so I think it is worth it.

I have a revlon 1875 Ionic and it is amazing. It was cheap(like $15-$20) but it works great. My hair is super thick, super curly, and super frizzy. It comes with that concentrator attachment so I can blow dry my hair straight and I don’t even need to use the flat iron after. It may have been cheap but it works really well and I have had no issues with it.

@prisigtr:  I have not used those brands you listed. I use BaByliss PRO Portofino 6600 Nano Titanium Dryer. It was a little pricer, but I bought it in Bed Bath and Beyond and was able to use a 20% off coupon so it wasn’t too bad.

I have very curly hair and go through hairdyers leftt and right. I’ve had this for a while now and it still works like day one. I blow dry my hair straight in half the time. Not sure if you’ve looked into this brand, but I’ve been very happy with it.
