So after much debate, I’ve decided I want an alternative stone to go with the beautiful Robbins Bro’s setting i’ve fallen in love with. Upon research I love the Amora stones but it looks like they won’t be out until I’ve been married a year or longer! Can anyone offer another alternative? I want it to be clear and sparkley! This is the setting I am getting. What size would you suggest? Sorry for all of the questions but I need help! Thanks!!

Hi! How about a Forever Brilliant Moissanite?? You can get loose stones here:http://www.moissaniteco.com/forever_brilliant_loose_stones.html
They also sell Amora Moissy stones, but it says that they’re out of stock for a month or so

Amora moissanite. The amora gem won’t be available until 2015 in the US (supposedly) BUT the amora moissanite is gorgeous and its available now (or should be shortly)! I don’t know a ton about the Forever Brilliant which is the one that is technically in stock right now but I’ve heard good things! I have an amora and I love it!

Oh wow, they’re beautiful! If any of you looked at the setting what carat would you go with? Who sets the stone in the ring? Seriously I am a ring novice and have no clue. Thanks so much for your replies.

Something a lot of women are doing if they want the Amora Gem is to get an Asha in the meantime, since they’re relatively inexpensive compared to moissanite, and then switch out the centerstone when they can get an Amora.

I have a regular C&C moissanite and it’s beautiful and sparkly. It’s also a large stone (9×7) and I’ve been told to get the enhanced for the larger stones… I didn’t and my stone is wonderful. I havent’ seen the enhanced stones or the amora stones in person but my ring is spectacular.

If I were going for a diamond alternative, I would go with an Asha or moissanite(enhanced or unenhanced – I hear women are happy with both).
