schmeebee85 : First off, congratulations! It’s such a relief to make that move from an unhealthy work situation. And secondly, I love animals so I’m jealous that you’ll be getting paid to work with them! That’s so awesome.

ladyvictoria : Thanks, and yes, it is such a relief. I feel SO much better now. And I’m an animal lover too, so it’s the perfect job. I know there will be hard parts, but loving on dogs and cats so often makes up for it.

Congratulations, Bee! You must be a pet person.
It was a vet tech years ago who *finally* diagnosed my six month old pup’s bizarre mystery illness—cryptosporidia. Not one they test for every day. It’s also zoonotic (humans get it, too). I had to get the meds from Walgreens, the vet didn’t keep them. And Walgreens had to special order them; $150 for five pills). And my baby finally got well. Thank gawd for that tech. I have never forgotten her.
You can make a difference, Bee, just helping pet owners feel less anxious.

schmeebee85 : I worked in a job that I was miserable in for a year. I regret that I stayed in it for that long. So congratulations for finding a better job for you so fast!
