+1. It has too many loopy letters and it looks like a mess when I try to go quickly!

That’s why I’m keeping my name.

I’ve been practicing my new last name and I just cant get the flow. Ugh. Mine also has a Z in it next to a Y so it’s a disaster!

I practice when I get bored.. basically I kept the first part of my signature and kind of manipulated it to look more like letters in his last name so I’m only changing the second half. It’s going to be ugly for a while.

I’m thinking of using the same sig. It’s barely scribbles so I don’t think anyone would say – hey that doesn’t say XXnew last nameXX.

that’s why I only sign with my first name.

Haha! I got married in December and my signature still looks horrible!  I guess that’s what I get for signing my maiden name for 30 years LOL

LOL My signature is pretty much a mass of random scribbles since I primarily pay by charge and I got tired of doing a perfect, legible signature every time. I plan to keep the same signature regardless of my last name because it’s not clearly one way or the other.

Mine got shorter and went from an S to a J.  Love it.  Mine was always terrible and now it’s a little less terrible – at least you can make out the J.  🙂

It still feels weird to me. I thought it’d feel like nothing, but it’s amazing how odd it is.

It’s a pain. I got so used to quickly scribbling my maiden name.. now I have to stop and think about what I’m writing out.. my signature has become a lot more legible.. but it’s a pain to write out. I’m sure after a while I’ll come up with a sloppy way of writing it out, but for now I actually write out each letter..

@lilbluebird:  +1  I’m just going to slightly adjust my scribble, make it a little longer and such.

I didn’t change my signature at all, though it is just my first initial and last name kind of scribbled.  A signature is a representation or depiction of one’s name, nickname, or other marks as proof of identity or intent.  Just because your last name changes, doesn’t mean your signature has to.  Plus, how often is someone going to say something about it?
