My new last name has 2 z’s. Whenever I try to sign it, I end up basically writing it in print. It is going to take awhile..

@al0818:  I sign messy anyway and the letters of my new last name are pretty close to my maiden name so, same signature. 🙂

I finally got on board with changing my last name, but after several attempts of figuring how it fits, decided to keep my sig the same.

Not a 30something here.. but YES! I’ve tried to sign my future last name and it looks so sloppy! Going to take a long time to get used to!

@al0818:  My new signature is so much easier! My maiden name is very long and complicated, FH’s is short and simple. Plus I been practicing it for almost 8 years now 😛

Mine is pretty much the same as it was before. Due to the way I signed my name anyway, I only really needed to change the first letter when I sign my last name which is a good thing really since i accidentally signed my old name when giving the sample signature for my mortage savings account. Oops! Embarassed

@al0818:  fun fact: I have never properly written the letter G. Guess which letter my married name will begin with?  I’m practicing.

It only took about a month before I had the signature down…the hard part for me was the initals. Never thought about it and realized the first four months I had still been using my old initials. OOPS!

HA! I was like a total high school girl even before we were engaged. Practicing away when I would doodle. It was ridiculous! although new name has an ‘ei’ and I just cant get used to that, but I will get there someday

I practiced a lot before we got married and I still can’t seem to do it right! My new last name has a lot of loopy letters in it, especially when compared to my maiden name. It looks like crap if I try to do it too quickly!

Haha I actually like signing my future last name. It’s pretty fluid despite all the letters. I have to change the way I sign my first name too though.

My new last name will be TWELVE letters. 12! That’s just too many. I like the look of it spelled out, but let’s be practical, after the first four to six letters, it’s just gonna be a squiggly hot mess.

after 26 years of practicing my last name signature is still horrible!!! I’m so excited for my new signature!!! It’s only 3 letters and so fun to write!
