(Closed) New license with new name

@MissNachoLover:  Why would you need to book them in your maiden name if you are changing your ID to your married name tomorrow? It should be fine either way though, I would take both IDs and your marriage liscense just in case. My husband just changed his ID from HI to UT and they punched holes in his old one but didn’t take it. Someone told us he can still use it as ID, just not for driving until it expire, though I don’t know if that’s true. Good luck!

@MissNachoLover:  Are you in a print off at the DMV state, or a mail it to you later state? If they’re going to run off a new license for you right there tomorrow, then use your new name. Or, if you do it in your old name, take a photo copy of your old license + your marriage license + your new license with you and you should be covered no matter what.
