Husband and I decided we wanted another dog for Christmas! I just picked her up from the shelter after getting spayed. We haven’t thought of A name for her yet, we have two cats (Kaylee and Nala) and a male dog named Jesse. I can’t post about her on Facebook yet, we’re trying to keep it a surprise for our families this holiday. Name suggestions welcome!! (And your best guess for what breed(s) she is!)

Omg! She is gorgeous! Probably a German Shephard mix would be my guess.
I like the name bailey for her. But that’s just me!
She looks so happy!!! Congratulations!!!

Oh, she seems so happy! What about Reina (Queen)?

I say Noel, since you got her around Christmas! Maybe Ellie for short:)

She’s adorable, congratulations! Aspen, Ivy, Noel, Joy

She’s really beautiful – looks so cheerful. As to breed, she looks a bit like what we call in Australia a ‘heeler’.
Personally I like really human names for dogs – it’s funny in a good way. I recently encountered a dog called ‘Bob’. ‘Noel’ on account of Christmas isn’t a bad suggestion though.

alamana: It must be! I think Christmas is probably the busiest season for adopting doggies! Congratuulations on your new furbaby too!
ahartig: Bailey is a good name! I tried it last night and this morning, but unfortunately “Bailey” and “Kaylee” are too similar so they are both responding no matter which name I call!
stephanie091512: I LOVE Holly but Hubby says absolutely not. 🙁
yourhandinmine: I really like Noel (With Ellie for short), and it seems like it will fit her so we are going to give that one a try!
She is a smart cookie, in less than 24 hours she’s already learned “sit”, “down” and is getting the hang of “shake”. Shes getting along well with the kitties and the instant you tell her “no” she stops whatever she’s doing!
