I ended up selling my heart ring. I didn’t necessarily get bored of it or stop loving it, it’s just that the diamond had 3 feather inclusions in which they reached the surface. The jewelers told me there was not really any concern and that it could be worn but I have such a clumsy hand I was afraid to knock it in the right place and crack it. They were transparent inclusions, not black or anything but it just bothered me. I can handle inclusions but the word “crack” just doesn’t sit well when it’s ring you intend on wearing for many years.
I then came across a really good deal for a round solitaire. I mainly went for it because I planned on re-selling it but now that I have it I’m not sure. Here is a picture of this new beautiful round 6 prong solitaire set in 14k yellow gold. I never thought I would even like a round as I totally consider myself a “fancy” shape girl for sure but there is something so classic about it in which you feel you can’t really go wrong.
I am not saying this is my forever ring but I am saying for now I don’t want to re-sell. It’s really full of fire and hard to capture even in video.
I just wanted to share!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For reference it’s a 1 carat round solitaire (which I thought would look massive after having a 1 carat princess I didn’t like because it was so massive and looked weird I think).. I believe J color. No inclusions visible unless looped. Size 5.5 finger.
