@yamin:  that eternity band!!!❤❤ I’m getting one and I’m still debating between emerald cut and oval…. I mean I saw that you have a pear solitaire, so a classic emerald cut eternity makes complete sense. I have an emerald cut solitaire, so I should get with oval?

Just got mine July 2!! It’s a 1.1 carat equivalent diamond-cut harro gem on a 1 mm rose gold band! Obsessed!

My early anniversary present – 35 years. It’s from James Allen True Hearts collection, 4.1cts J color. I wasn’t sure how I would like the color but as it turns out I really love it. The only thing is the setting seems really high. But I haven’t smacked it on anything yet, so far so good.

@DrAtkins:  Thank you ladies. My 35th is actually early next year, but it is the 35th anniversary of our engagement, lol.

I never had a J color diamond so I was a little worried, but it’s very well cut and faces up white. And to be quite frank I am unwilling to pay the $50,000 or more(!) I’d need to for a superideal in the H range, so I was only looking at I and J diamonds.

@sunburn:  that’s the beauty of a well cut diamond, even at J it’s still white face up. Plus it’s a huge saving for just a couple of colour grades! I personally prefer a warmer colour and I strongly encourage my clients to at least look at the stones in a lower colour grade as the savings can be huge and diamonds are just as beautiful!!  That’s so sweet it’s your engagement anniversary. So special ❤️ I’m glad you got spoilt. Enjoy it Hun x

@EmeleeRose:  Face up, well-cut round brilliants hide color well. The smaller diamond is an AGS000 D color. There’s not as much difference between it and the J as you might think.

Not sparkly, but I love the latest addition to my collection! It’s a vintage wedding band with 8 rows of milgrain. It’s thick, heavy, and really well made. That is not my hand in the pic – the ring was as size 5.75 or 6 which was giving me a muffin top. I took it to my local jeweler and they stretched it to a 6.5 with no damage to the design. Jeweler said that was the most they could stretch it and it fits perfectly now. They have some tool that they put it on, apply heat and gently stretch. (I am pretty certain stretching only works on bands, not a ring with stones.)

@sunburn:  She’s a beauty. I am 100% with you with regards to colour and not paying that extra premium. I personally prefer diamonds from J on anyway. Your new treasure really faces up white in comparison to the D.

Congrats on the 35 years! Can’t wait to see the rock you’ll sport for your 50th!

@sunburn:  haha – that is not my hand, that’s the pic from the ad. I have ugly man hands and crappy nails that won’t grow no matter what, so I never wear polish.  cool

Your new ring is killer!

@desiderata:  Thank you!  But there will be no bigger rocks lol. My husband said any larger would look ridiculous. He sort of thinks I’m crazy for my love of stones, and sometimes so do I.

@katebluestone:  I dont have great looking hands either thanks to genetics, but I’m a nail polish fiend. Anything I can do to make them look better.
