My husband and I have been married for three years and we’ve gone through quite the assortment of temporary rings trying to find the right one. I didn’t know what I liked when we got engaged and as we were in the process of immigrating to Europe, we weren’t able to spend a whole lot. For our third anniversary my husband got a ruby ring for me that I did post on here and absolutely loved. My ruby scratched badly not long after I began wearing it and it gutted both of us because we thought we’d found a forever ring. I babied it, but I must’ve not babied it enough. We went back to the drawing board and my husband asked exactly what size, setting, cut, gemstone, and color I wanted and this is what he designed. It’s a 2 total carat weight moissanite trilogy ring. The center is a rosecut and the sides are old european cut. I can’t stop looking at it. It’s my first moissanite attempt and I think I’m in love. The rosecut is so glowy and is to die for. If you’re not into the rainbow effect many moissanite give off, rosecut is definitely the route you should take. This is stunning. I’ll try to get some better pictures later! I’m so happy we’ve found a beautiful and durable wedding ring! Please show off your moissanites or other rings that you love! Let’s celebrate!

Happy Anniversary and your ring is gorgeous!
I’m really interested in more photos & a video of the rosecut moissanite–does it sparkle more than a rosecut diamond? Totally understand if you can’t or don’t want to make that happen–don’t feel obligated!

So sorry to hear about your ruby, I know you were so excited when you found that, I am wondering if you are going to do something with the stone? perhaps make a pendant out of it for a necklace? anyhoo… congrats on the new ring, it truly is beautiful and suits your hand so well! seems like it will last a lifetime! enjoy!
