Gorgeous! I’ve always wanted a sapphire. They’re so pretty, and that ring is definitely no exception 😍 The stone color is to die for! Can I ask where you got it? 😁

These are my favorite/regular RHRs — 2 opals, a spinel, and a ruby (all but the pear opal are antique or vintage)

@peach11:  it’s beautiful – and what a special connection to your mom! I love for its sentimental links.

this is my right hand “go-to” – it’s an antique ring c.1920 with an opal and old cut diamonds. I purchased it from a friend who is an antique jewelry dealer (she scours auctions and estate sales and finds the best treasures! 😍):

Your ring is gorgeous!! I love sapphires, they also just happen to be my birthstone!

Here is my sapphire RHR πŸ™‚ It is actually my original engagement ring, my husband designed it himself and had it 3D printed in silver! The stone came from the first ring he ever bought for me when we first started dating, but that ring was severely damaged :/ There’s a bunch of symbolism and meaningful tidbits that he included, I love it SO much!

@FinallyMrsSmith2020: How lovely that he went to that effort. Is he is physicist? So…  Heart , Mu, ( sapphire) four infinity?  Love Mu( muon?) for eternity? Or if you go with just the shape of Mu then- “Love you for ever.” Sweet.

@desiderata:  he is an engineer πŸ™‚ you translated it perfectly!! we used to say “I love muuuu” all of the time, so using the mu symbol was meaningful! ♥= Love, mu= you, 2^2=4(for), and infinity=forever
