I’d do a solitaire with a pavé band to match your current band and double claw prongs.

I am positively DROOOOLING over your stone!

I’m partial to bezels because that’s what I have now and they are seriously the best for comfort and durability but I don’t think you can go wrong with any of your choices. That stone is so gorgeous.

Val13 :  thank you! I love sapphires. They’re my birthstone.

I feel like double claws add a little extra interest and oomph to a setting. Single claws are cute too… you can’t go wrong with a claw prong elongated stone IMO.

    Val13 :  What chitownyogini said.
Rose gold solitaire with delicate single or double claw prongs will look stunning with this stone!! Elongated stones and claw prongs are dreamy, I have a RHR with a slightly elongated cushion and claw prongs 😍 Oh and the color of the metal with the color of the stone… this is going to be a gorgeous ring!!!

Val13 :  here it is! I used to have it in a prong setting which I still love the look of but I wanted something more comfortable that I never have to take off so I had it reset. The bezel is raised so more light gets in and my wedding band can be flushScreenshot_20190528-210230_Gallery

Val13 :  that stone is gorgeous!  I would do a simple solitair setting with claw prongs – I almost feel like a bezel setting will not highlight your stone’s true beauty and I think a halo might distract 🙂

I’m also partial to bezels since I have one. Mine is raised and open at the bottom (MiaDonna Elsa setting) which lets the stone sparkle while still protecting it, imporant for my emerald. As an avid knitter I deeply appreciate not having to worry about prongs snagging on yarn, lol.

I’d like al bezel, but not  too intrusive.  Your stone is gorgeous  And anther vote for rose gold.
