Hello Bees! Just got engaged this weekend(finally!) and my ring has a setting which will only be temporary. We agreed that whenever we got engaged I would design my own setting. I would love to see any large ovals in intricate setting or simple settings, pavè, micropavè, halos, no halos. I want to see it all!
This is it! Temp setting is yellow gold “claw” 4 prong. It’s a 3.2 carat, G, VS1 oval. My ring finger is a 3.75 but I might size it up to 4 because it’s realy difficult to put on and take off. I’m in love with it!

No real constructive input, just wanted to say that diamond is goals! I love it. I would leave it in a simple setting and really let the center stone shine.
I think three-stone ovals (all three stones are oval) are pretty too but you already have a ton of finger coverage with that stone.

I don’t have an oval to show but I think your ring looks perfect in its current setting! It really makes that gorgeous stone stand out.

Your diamond is gorgeous.
I’m just distracted by the body part your hands are positioned on. It’s like a puzzle.

that’s my leg hahaha and thank you!!

Aha! That’s what I thought. Or your fiancés very smooth torso like he’s standing with hands on his hips. I looked at it way too closel, obviously.
I would keep your setting simple to highlight the gorgeous stone.

I would keep the plain band. You don’t need to add anything to that gorgeous stone!!

I also vote to keep it as is because your choices for wedding bands will be endless!

Wow thats a stunning rock! I agree that it looks beautiful as is, but since you’re looking for inspiration, heres my moissanite setting.
You could keep your ering as is and get a more intriciate wedding band?

Mine isn’t large, but I do have an oval diamond in a micropave setting! It also has diamonds encasing the basket on the side. Let us know what you end up setting yours in!

Gorgeous ring! plenty of bling factor and finger coverage so I say keep it as is and add a blingy band of some sort!

None of these are mine, just my endless supply of Pinterest porn. I think oval halos have a really romantic, vintage feel and the size of yours is glamorous.
This is my right hand ring.

Thank you for the suggestions! Consensus seems to be to keep it as is!

Hmmm I like it as it is but I prefer simple settings and yellow gold. With a diamond like that, you cant go wrong!
