@19801111: I think it looks GORGEOUS!!!! When did you get it? You might be freaking out because it is new, or because you are a perfectionist!!! I think the stone looks big in the first pic… of course… but it looks hugeee in the new setting!! I adore it! I think the band looks amazing. No need to worry. I say give yourself a few weeks, see how you feel then. Honestly, I’m a perfectionist, so I know what you mean… but it’s beautiful!!!

I personally love a thicker band. I love the new set, and think it will grow on you. Enjoy it and don’t change it any more. I love your band as well and the higher setting showcases the center stone more.

@Fallicious1012: Also, maybe you can help me!! I recently posted about my future engagement ring… I thought it was 4 mm… turns out it is 4 on the underside, 3 mm on the front. I was worried about having a matching wedding band and it being too thick. The stones on the side of my ering are .15… how big are the stones in your diamond band? Just for comparison! ๐Ÿ™‚ If mine turns out like yours… I’d be a VERY happy camper!

I understand you need to be comfortable and wear it each day, so I dont think you should beat yourself up over obsessing. And yes i think it would help many bees to know the mm for future reference.

@19801111: Oh thank you!!! That is perfect… my jeweler said he can make me a matching wedding band (even though that is not happening for a long time, lol) but i wasn’t sure of the thickness. It will be the same as your wedding band. Awesome! I’m guessing your ering is about the same width. I hope you love it after you get used to it!! ๐Ÿ™‚

I really like the thicker band a lot more!  That’s one of the things I love about my own ring, the substantial setting.  It’s very similar to your new one ๐Ÿ™‚

Seriously. It looks awesome. I think that a thinner band would have looked too discrepant with your wedding band. I think you should let them grow on you. And the view that bothers you the most is my favorite ๐Ÿ™‚ but do whatever makes you happy in the end and keeps you sleeping at night.

    I think it looks fine.
