I swear by my Solia.  I’ve had it since 2005 and it’s still working great.

I’m a hairstylist and I use a GHD both at the salon and at home! It’s fabulous and gentle on the hair, you chould check it out!

I have a Chi Turbo and almost 7 years later it’s still going strong!

Also, how broken is it? Something went a little funny on mine where it wasn’t heating properly. I told my hairdresser I needed a new one, and she was like, “No, don’t! I have a ‘guy.'”

So I brought it in to her, she passed it along to her ‘guy,’ and it was fixed and working like new and cost me next to nothing to fix.

@jennifer89:  I had a Chi that died so I bought another. The new one I bought lasted a few months and one day it caught on fire while I was using it and scared the s*it out of me so I decided I could never get a Chi again for fear of it killing me the next time around! I ended up buying and inexpensive straightener at Sally’s Beauty Supply for $60 and it works just as good as the Chi did minus the fire part. It’s called a GVP flat iron

GHD. My last one lasted almost a decade until I stepped on it.

Babyliss…the plates are titanium so theres virtually no pulling and it stays heated evenly on the plates.

I’ve tried so many straighteneres, (CHI, GHD, Hai,) but I always come back to T3.  It’s by far the best in my opinion.

The Sultra is really good and it has adjustable heat settings.

ghd! The best there is out there I love it. It’s expensive but so worth the money, and it last for days.
