I would not change a single thing about the dress you got! I love the delicate spaghetti straps on that dress!!! It’s beautiful!!

I went through a lot of dress regret and there was a time I was obsessed with this dress… seriously, don’t change a thing ๐Ÿ™‚

I voted keep the straps it has right now because altho I’m not normally a fan of spaghetti straps, I like them with a low back dress like yours and worry that adding illusion straps would take away from the neckline.

I think the reason the illusion straps work on the first dress is that it’s a V-neck. Putting straps like that on a sweetheart seems like it would either create a really wide strap, or some weird angles.

I don’t normally like spaghetti straps (mostly because my prom was in the late 1990s) but on this dress they don’t look dated. However, if it’s the straps you dont like, I’d recommend either adding a halter or ditching the straps altogether before I’d add something that will change the entire character ofthe dress.

I’m just not sure how the illusion traps would work… woudl you get more lace from your dresS? or do a sheer tulle?

I thinkt he spagetti straps are gorgeous, but I’m having a hard time invisioning illusion straps.
