I am a MOB that just recently found this site! OMG….so much amazing talent and fabulous ideas. My daughter and future son-in-law are going to be married the end of June. Almost everything has been taken care of except, after finding this site, I keep thinking of new things. For example… valet tags (never been to a wedding that had these but what a neat touch), Out of Town bags (I’m learning some acronyms), bathroom baskets, MOO Trivia cards, etc. Can there be too much?
How does this work? Do I ask all of my questions on one post? or should I create individual posts with questions? Can I track this post so I know if someone has responded? How do I know where to post things? Is the Beehive the general board?
I am overwhelmed. My wedding reception was in a church gym. When my love and I got married it was the era of cake and punch receptions. We took the plunge and had a buffet – upscale sandwich style at the time.
I want my daughter to have the most amazing beautiful day of her life (that I can afford

Welcome to the hive! This is the best site ever!!!! There are different sections to post each question in under that main idea. Like reception, ceremony, dress, Bridesmaid or Best Man, etc. You can always go to your profile and view your started threads and when the last comments and stuff where made. All the girls here are so helpful though! And CONGRATS to your daughter!!!!

So glad to see you on here and that you are so involved in your daughters wedding 🙂 You can create a post for each question. Click the category listed above then click write a post. Also, to track post you have commented on or created click (in the very upper right hand corner) “view your profile” and it will lead to to the threads. Hope this helps some. I am new too so I am just learning all this as well.

Congrats Queen Bee! If you click wedding related (in the lighter green bar near the top) you’ll see lots of categories. Click one that pertains to your question, then click “write a post.” Posting one question per post is best. You can see all the posts you wrote, and all posts you replied to, by clicking on “view your profile” in the very top right hand corner of the page.
So glad you are excited to help your daughter!

Welcome to weddingbee! You can ask multiple questions in the same post or make different posts about different topics if you would like. You can add your topics to your favories so they will be seen on your profile (on the right top) and you can subscribe to a topic and you will receive an email every time someone responds. Beehive is the general board, if you have questions about cake for instance, you would put it in food.
