Hi Dawn,

We use taco guys all the time for parties at our house.  We have always found them on Craigslist and all have been great!  I an find the specific name of the last person we used if you send me a message.

I think for the dresses, you just need to be super honest about your price.  They want a sale, so they will help try to find something you can really afford.  Can I ask what your budget for a dress actually is?  I went to 5 stores in San Diego although they were mostly further south (but I did go to Susanti and found my runner-up dress). I went to Here Comes the Bride, Chez Bride Moderne, Bridal and Veil Galleria, Bridal and Veil?, and Susanti.  Have you been to David’s?  Also try Alfred Angelo.

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to WB!  We’re doing a rental for our wedding weekend too.  We’re using Tacos and Gorditas (www.tacosandgorditas.com) Sandra has been awesome.  They are incredibly affordable and tasty! I’m supre excited.

I don’t think shops mind if you prefer to choose your own dresses.  Just let them know what you prefer to do.

I bet it exists, but you’ll have to search and negotiate a bit.  If you only get 1 shooter and no album, you will likely have a better shot.

HI! We’re doing a whole weekend fandango too on a private ranch up in Pala..most of my budget was spent on the rental for the whole weekend, so I was really crunching numbers for everything else. I found most of my vendors online by perusing this site and BridalInsider/Projectwedding too

We’re using ILOVETACOS for our rehearsal dinner and day after brunch, totally budget friendly and super nice to work with..ask for Edna..they have great reviews.

I’d also recommend Your Inner Song Photography, they are a husband and wife team based out of temecula and within your price range. Excellent work and really nice too!

Hooray for finding your dress! Thats such a relief eh?

@baldor1: Glad you checked out the photogs.. and hope all the other stuff works out for you!  As far as your dress goes you could always lay it flat and wrap it in a white sheet.. I was concerned about the same thing but my seamstress said not to worry about it, so now I’ve taken to obsessing about moths eating my dress!
