Honestly, if you can go during the week, I would recommend hitting up the behemoth that is the Mall of America. Less crowded on a Tuesday or Wednesday and they have Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom, Macy’s and a bunch of other cuter small stores.

And enjoy the no sales tax on clothes! That is one of the big things I miss since I moved one state over.

@KVbride: Try Heartbreaker in Uptown. It’s on Lake and Lagoon, right in Calhoun Square. They have great clothes and shoes and accessories. I love that store, I can’t go in there because I get too many things!

Mall of America has tons of dress shops. There are the four major department stores, plus specialty stores like Jessica McClintock, Glitz, and Betsy Johnson. Then there are also the clothing stores that carry dresses like previously mentioned- Cache, Arden B, and Express to name a few.

Also, there is Anthropologie on 50th & France in Edina.

If you don’t want to go to the monster Mall of America (but totally worth the hassel), try the Edina mall.  Great stores and everything a fashionista could ever want.
