DH & I have decided to give it a go. This is my first month off BC. I’ve decided to not chart temps at this point because I don’t want to over analyze things,.. just want to try to relax and let nature do it’s course but I can’t stop thinking about it lol.. I figured my body would take a while to adjust off bc but I actually believe I’m on track this far. Two weeks past tom & some ovulation signs, which is oddly exciting 🙂 anyway, I’m completely new to all this. I’d love some advice or wisdom.. at the very least, it’s nice to be able to talk about this stuff 🙂

@RMBsbride: All I can say is go for it and enjoy. If you are inded about to ovulate it’s especially crucial that you BD as much as possible. Baby dust to you***

@RMBsbride: Good luck! I’d recommend joining the Jan POAS thread – that way you can chat with other ladies who are trying about any symptoms/questions/concerns.

@RMBsbride: So exciting! DH and I just started TTC, but we are not charting or anything. I keep track of AF with an app on my phone and it tells you when your most likely to be fertile. There’s also a spot to add temps for whenever you do want to start charting. For now, we’re just going to see how things go and in a few months I might start charting.
Good luck to you!!

@RMBsbride: WELCOME to the crazy world of TTC! I suggest you read this thread: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/what-to-expect-ttc#axzz2qIEuQvMi
Also, be aware that the first month off of BC can be crazy. Your hormones will take time to regulate. Some women can experience “pregnancy-like” symptoms during this time.
Good luck to you!

@RMBsbride: Hey! I am in the same position as you; just got off BC last month, not doing anything to chart yet (but going to start with my next period!). For a lot of women it actually doesn’t take long for the body to regulate; I have many friends who got pregnant right away after getting off BCP. I am waiting to see when I get my period to tell whether I’ve regulated or not. I’m going to buy a basal thermometer this week in preparation for charting! Have you d/l and app or use a website like Fertility Friend to help you keep track? My advise is just to read a lot of posts & ask a lot of questions 🙂

Thanks everybody! I had to look up the BD acronym.. and giggled when I did 🙂 Yes, I’m tracking w/ an app right now 🙂 So far so good re getting off the pill.. no crazy emotional roller coster horror stories like I’ve heard many of (though I was crabbier the first wk.. not bad). Thanks, all 🙂
