I am on my 2nd TTC and I am not sure when I ovulate. I have a ~28 cycle on average.
Darling Husband and I have been BDing almost every single day since CD11. Currently I am CD18.
This morning he left for a 3-day trip and wasn’t in the mood to BD before he left. 🙁
Is it too late to try an OPK to see if I have already ovulated?
Not knowing when I ovulate(d) is giving me some anxiety about skipping BD..

florence22: The “average” woman with a 28 day cycle will ovulate on day 14. The egg hangs around for about 1 day. Sperm take a bit to travel to the egg, so you are actually most fertile a few days before and (maybe) the day of ovulation. OPKs measure leutenizing hormone (LH), which surges before ovulation (24-48 hours give or take). So OPKs probably won’t do you much good at the moment, unless you have had irregular cycles. I think your timing looks great.

OPKs tell you that your body is gearing up to O, not that you’ve O’ed.
