So last friday I signed up for ww online, I’ve needed to lose 20 lbs now for 3-4 years and my engagement has made me determined to finally get it done.
My diet has always been very healthy, full of whole grains, unprocessed foods, fruits, veggies and lean meats, its just that I eat a LOT. (I also exercsie a lot).
My allowed ww points is 29 and I’m finding this super hard! The past few days I’ve been eating a lot less but still pulling in 40-55 points!!! I feel like things that shouldn’t be a ton of points are, or is just me not adjusting well?
Yesterday I ate rolled oats with splenda and a bunch of unsweetened fruit for breakfast. A PB&J on Arnold whole wheat (unsalted, natural peanut butter and sugar free jelly) for lunch.
Dinner I had 1/2 panko breaded chicken breast, 1/2 cup endamame, and 4 oz whole wheat pasta with Kraft sundried tomato olive oil dressing.
Snacks I had water w/crytsal light, a banana, coffee with cream no sugar, and a jello snack cup (sugar free 60 cals). Oh and some baby carrots, cherry tomatoes and radishes with trive hummus, (about 3 tbsp of hummus).
I am waaay over my points and I feel like I’m really cutting back.
Any suggestions? I’ve been reading that some of you bees are having great results!

Are you sure you are calculating your points correctly? Your menu does’t seem like its 40+ points. Here is a normal menu for me, and I get 32 points:
Breakfast: Low sugar maple oatmeal, coffee w/ skim milk
Lunch: Turkey on a spinach wrap with lettuce, tomatoes and onions; 20 mini pretzels, 1 yogurt
Snack: 1-2 pieces of fruit (usually orange, apple, or banana)
Dinner: Salad with 1tbls, italian dressing and 2 oz. avacado; grilled marinated chicken, small baked potatoe, 1/2tbls. lite spread
Snack: 1/2 c. frozen yogurt
Are you measuring everything? My food scale has saved my life. It also doesn’t seem like youre getting enough fruits, veggies and dairy. All of that is really important. Good luck!!!

@Bostongrl25: Thanks! I really appreciate the comparison. Hmmm, maybe I’m not putting in the right portions on the website? I’ll double check. I couldnt’ imagine eating any less haha.
I do not have a food scale. Where did you get yours? Was it expensive?

Yeah, that doesn’t sound like that many points.

@nickels: I got mine from the weight watchers store, but you can get them anywhere. It doesnt have to be weight watchers brand. Target, Walmart, etc. I use it to measure meat, potatoes…pretty much everything that I cant measure in a measuring cup 🙂
