You know…

What the ACTUAL F!*$?

This is what our world is coming to. Thank you, FB, Twitter, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest, and the generally useless concept of sharing the gratuitous selfie with a billion strangers, for lowering the collective intelligence of the planet.

Yeah, I guess I’m being judgy, but, my gosh…

This kind of crap makes my heart so sad, and it makes me wish I could go hide in a hole and never come out.

Sorry, rant over. And no, never in a million.

This is almost certainly the nastiest of the series. It’s an awkward, voyeuristic, inappropriate and humiliating composition. What on earth possessed these girls to demean themselves like this?

Don’t like it- doesn’t look cute or funny at all. That’s a picture I would be ashamed to have as the bride or Bridesmaid or Best Man.

Steampunkbride:  is that a real pic or a plot for a porno? at least they were smart enough to hide their faces…

atreyu547:  It’s just gross, isn’t it? It claims to be a real example of this horrible, so-called “trend” too although it totally looks like a downmarket, backyard porno shoot more than it does a wedding.

I went to a wedding and I saw PLENTY of Bridesmaid or Best Man bums, but it wasn’t purposely for photos! They simply just chose cheap juniors size dresses from Deb’s which kept riding up since they were already too short… WAY too short.

I think photos like this are incredibly trashy and I personally would NEVER allow a photo like this on my own wedding day. I’ve made it clear to my ladies, I don’t want to see any hoo-ha’s or ta-ta’s on my day!

All these girls have awesome butts, which I’m sure plays into their desire to show them off! I think the above pic is a joke/promo/teaser pic though, using models. Those bridesmaids all have WAY too perfect bodies, and those bridesmaid dresses look kind of dated, color and style-wise. And no one’s hair looks very bridal.

If they were all wearing DIY burlap thongs and you saw a pile of mason jars in the background, however, I might be more willing to believe it real…

Can’t really be mad at your husband for looking at semi-naked girls if they are your wedding pictures! Such a dilema.

Steampunkbride:  thanks for pointing out this thread . . . ( I made a topic of this over in the Beehive )

I just can’t believe this is a thing!  Yuck!

I’ll drink out of a mason jar before I show my ass in a wedding photo.

(I have a strong dislike of mason jars being used for anything rather than making jam . . .) lol

Ok, definitely NOT happening if I’m involved- as a bride or a bridesmaid!

Also, I feel like “trend” is being used really loosely here- there were what, 6 photos in that article?  6 photos do NOT a trend make.  I could probalby find as many photos of almost any wedding-related pose and I don’t think it would constitute a trend!

I don’t get it…what would you do with a pic like that afterwards? You can’t really display it anywhere. If a bride asked me to do that pose it’d be a flat out no from me!
