@Cinderella7:  If he’s anything like my SO, it’s a one-track mind kind of thing and right now it’s all about the test. I realised with my SO that when he has something he has to do, he can only focus on that until it’s finished and then he’ll start thinking about/working on the next thing. It’s the same with stuff that is a two-part process….for example if he has to mow the lawn and then fertilize it, he has to get all the mowing over and done with before he’ll even think about what fertilizer to use, when he’s going to do it, etc. I think I heard once that women are way better at multi-tasking than men are and this includes multiple plans/thoughts in their heads! I wouldn’t worry about it too much…..give him lot’s of support and encouragement over the next couple of weeks and then see where his head is after the test. Stay strong and positive!

Welcome to the forums! ๐Ÿ˜€

I’m going to ignore 90% of your post to chip in that before you worry yourself or your Boyfriend or Best Friend about timelines and such please please please let him get his exams out of the way ๐Ÿ™‚ he probably has 101 thinking he’s trying to think about already. 2 weeks isn’t too long at least.

i totally get the wanting to ask about it, but as I type this my Boyfriend or Best Friend is sat at his computer pouring over notes for his own exams in 2 weeks. The last thing he needs is me dancing about and asking if it’ll be this year or 2014 lol. My coping mechanism is to be super awesome and careing and then tell him what a wonderful Girlfriend I am ๐Ÿ˜‰

once his exams are over I think it wouldn’t be out of line for you to casually ask if his feelings have changed at all. All the best to you! X
