How often has someone needed to look up the definition to “vajazzle”?? Is this a word that regularly comes up in conversation with people who don’t know what it is?

This made me sad.

Is “facebook” in the dicitonary?  I’m annoyed that “ridic” made it in.  It’s not even a word, just a lazy short form.  🙁

@classyclassicsgirl:  Why would your second grader be looking up vajazzle?

I kind of bothers me when they add internet/text speak words like “redic” to the dictionary.  It’s kind of dumbing down the English language.

@classyclassicsgirl:  I mean, sure, but there are a whole host of other words they could also stumble across in the dictionary (or any book for that matter) that they wouldn’t understand. It seems like an odd concern to me.
