A high-protein diet with five meals a day will help you feel satisfied. Protein does wonders for keeping the appetite in check. I also like throwing in a protein shake, which is pretty filling. Try lots of veggies, too. Good luck!

I wish you the best of luck with your fitness goals! I know it seems hard now, but I heard the more you work out, the easier it becomes.

Congrats on making this decision-that’s an accomplishment in itself!

Totally agree with @amanda06:  in terms of eating high-protein. Eat a lot of fish, chicken, eggs, beans and (unsalted)nuts. Those will help keep you full. Also, think of subbing in higher protein veggies, like spinach or kale salads instead of the regular lettuce…that will also give you more energy for your workouts! I also love protein shakes as a snack….you can buy protein for pretty cheap, and mix it with pretty much anything (milk, berries, juice, etc). Eating a lot of protein will help you build muscle, and is somehting you want to do after each workout.

Try to limit carbs to small portions, and I’d recommend not having any after about 7pm (or three hours before bedtime).

Finally, if you’re looking for workouts, you can always try this website…they have a million for every body type and fitness level, and even ones you can do at home.

Good luck!
