We are headed to our next door neighbor’s house for a dinner party, and will probably be home in bed by 10pm. We’re wild and crazy like that. haha

We had plans to go out to dinner, then go to some bars for some drinks.. nothing crazy, but I was looking forward to it – he rarely gets off NYE because of his job. However, last week we found out I’m pregnant (yay!) so we decided to still go to dinner then just go home after and watch the ball drop – 8 years together & we’ve never seen the ball drop together! It’ll be a nice night. I apologized to him for “ruining” our plans, he said “You didn’t ruin anythnig.. it’ll be great to be at home this year just the three of us.” Aww!

I’m a home body and not a night person. For me, staying up means 10 pm, so waiting till midnight is awful for me. I like to stay home so that at 12:01, I can go to bed.

we night go to my parents house though, so I won’t be able to get home till 12:30.

getting dressed up and going out is fun and nive, I just don’t have it in me

My boyfriend, Fiance, and I are going to a kink party at a dungeon in a nearby city. Super excited! We’ll have a cocktail and ring in the new year with whips and  chains. After that the 3 of us are crashing at my future mother in laws so we can visit with her the next day.

I think dinner and then a movie.  I’ll sneak some booze into the movie for myself.

We ususally go to a nice restaurant every year that has dinner and dancing but I am pregnant so I won’t get to enjoy any alcohol beverages so instead we are going to a casual restaurant for all you can eat salad or soup, garlic loaf and pasta, a pregnant woman’s dream! lol

Fiance and I are going out to dinner , then coming home to have some champagne and watch the ball drop. Nothing too crazy, but I’m really looking forward to dinner. It’s one of the nicer restaurants in the section of brooklyn we live in, and we only go there for special occassions. Last year we stayed home with our sick cat, so it will be really nice to go out this year and have some good food and drinks. Still trying to figure out what to wear though!

We are spending the day with his immediate family chowing down on crab legs. Then later that night, my boyfriend got us tickets for a carriage ride through the beautiful historic downtown area before we have dinner at this delicious Italian restaurant. I can’t wait!

Church around 8 or 10 and then home. Probably will watch the fireworks they usually set off in my neighbourhood.

My friends will probably go out but I dislike partying (and NYE) and I would never want to be out too late on NYE when all the drunk people are heading home from their respective parties.

Just discussed that with Darling Husband and we’re staying in.  DD will go out of town to visit my IL’s, so it’s gonna be Darling Husband, DS and I.  We’ll have lots of comfort food, watch tv and greet the new year in our pj’s

jalem616:  We’ve got 3 parties to attend .. most likely we will only spend an hour at each. Then we have one more on New Year’s day for black eyed peas and traditional “lucky” foods for the New Year. 🙂

Darling Husband and I will be staying in for NYE!  We’ll have some Trader Joe’s goodies to snack on and some sparkling cider (DH doesn’t drink) to toast with when the ball drops on TV.

It sounds boring, but we partied with friends at club in NYC overlooking Times Square 2 years ago and we haven’t had the urge to go out on NYE after that.  I mean, we had a blast and it was definitely a great experience but it made us realize that we just prefer the comforts of home…and PJs. 😉

Staying in with the Fiance and our dogs! He doesn’t drink, but I’ll open a bottle of wine for myself. Probably watch some movies. And after midnight it will be my birthday! Whoop whoop!
