A few weeks back there was a post about what we will do in 2010 (HERE)
I know its only been 2 weeks, but I wanted to see how everyone is doing on keeping up with what they hoped to be doing! So, if you posted in that thread, post your original list and then tell us what youve accomplished or been continuin with on your list. If you didnt post there, just tell us what you had said you wanted to do and then let us know how its going!
1) Get married!
2) Travel out of the country with my fiance for the first time (Colombia then honeymoon!)
3) Get a new job
4) Apply to graduate schools
5) Try to cook dinner more often
6) Drink more water
7) Continue with my exercise routines
8) Make sure my friends and family know they are loved and cared for
9) Do more volunteer work
10) Take things one day at a time
I applied to a few jobs and talked to an old coworker about getting a position in her new company, so although I dont have a new job, Im working on it. I havent bought any juice, and Ive been drinking just milk and LOTS of water. I did cook dinner 1 night but my Fiance has been cooking our meals every night since hes on the P90X diet so I have been eating homecooked meals. I have exercised almost every day in the past 2 weeks. I have been hanging out with my friends regularly. And most importantly I have been taking things one day at a time!

I don’t really do new year’s resolutions, so my friend and I this year decided that in order to someday really accomplish a real resolution, we would start small.
So, yes, I did in fact keep my news year’s resolution! Sure, it was “I will eat a carrot at least once in the calendar year 2010” but now I can say that I kept it! So next year I can make it bigger and harder and be fueled by my ability to achieve.

Sigh. I used to have such great discipline. What happened?

Yeah…I said I’d stop eating desserts at work (our meals are all catered). I haven’t. At all.
I also said I’d begin and FINISH a new project since Fiance so kindly pointed out I’ve yet to finish a sinlge new endeavor that he’s ever seen. I haven’t yet failed here since I’ haven’t actually STARTED anything yet…
I have been going to the gym regularly, though I’m not sure if that counts since I always have (it was my fail-proof resolution).
I say 1.5 outta 3 ain’t bad!!

1. Get a job
2. Be able to spend money on fun things again!
3. Get back to going to the gym
4. Lose some of the wedding weight
5. Feel better
6. Be healthy (I hope)
7. Work on crafty things
8. Cook and bake more
9. Go see both sides of the family
10. Be a good wife
And a bonus:
11. Go on a great 1st anniversary trip to make up for no honeymoon!
The only thing that I have really done so far is going back to the gym. I went 4 times last week and have gone 3 times so far this week.
