Hi everyone!!

After signing up for a couple of other forums and not liking them at all-I found the Wedding Bee and fell in love! My Fiance and I got engaged a week before Christmas and I have been a busy, BUSY bee planning away! We originally were going to get married in fall of 2009, but the venue we fell in love with did not have any open availability! *boo* So now we are planning a January 2010 wedding which is OK for us because we live in California and our January days can be in the 80’s. 😉

It is so nice to be here!

Hello All!

I just got engaged 2 weeks ago, but have been browsing the hive for a couple of Months. We’re from Boston, and are planning a November 09 wedding close to home. It’s all coming together so fast, but I love it!

Hi there!

I got engaged on December 7 of 2008 and am planning an Atlanta wedding (March 27, 2010) from DC. My fiance and I actually met when I was in 9th grade and he was in 11th. We lost touch for about 8 years and then as we were both finishing up undergrad we got back in touch through the wonders of facebook. 🙂 The rest is history.

I’ve been addicted to WeddingBee since before we got engaged. This is perhaps the most helpful site I’ve ever seen on the web. (Not to mention addictive!)

So, yes, Hi!

Hi everyone!

I found this forum after a disappointing realization that theknot.com’s forums aren’t that friendly.  I didn’t have any run ins but I saw a lot of mean stuff posted there and decided it wasn’t for me.  Anyway, I love this forum and in the 2 weeks that I’ve been on here I’ve learned more about planning then I ever even knew was out there.

I’ve been with Fiance for 1.5 yrs and we’ve been engaged for about 2 weeks. I’m a ft student finishing my MS in Bio and starting a MA in teaching.  I should be done just in time for my projected June 2010 wedding date.. hooray!  He’s an electrician and ameteur photog, and he has a gorgeous 5yr old daughter.   We live in the stl metro area so I’d love to hear from any locals out there!

Thanks for all you’re help already, bees!

Hi! So nice to meet all of you! The hive has been great so far!

I’ve been around for a little while, but only started a few weeks ago.  Boy and I live together outside of Philly and are looking at a long engagement.  We just picked our venue and date, and we’re stoked!

I teach English at a small suburban high school, and Boy is an IT consultant.  We spend most of our time playing with our kitties (Neville and Molly) and our puppy (Jack-Jack).

Are there any other Penn State brides out there?

Greetings from the city of North America’s largest shopping mall!  (Bonus points to those who figure this out.  More bonus points to those who correct me if I’m mistaken; I live to learn.)  I plan to highlight that attraction, among others, to my out-of-town guests.

I don’t remember how I came to find Weddingbee (Cake Wrecks?), but I’m glad that I did.  When February began, I was not yet engaged, and I started reading the posts here for inspiration.  Because I can’t help fantasizing.  Then, my then boyfriend of 2 years proposed last Thursday.  How fortuitous!  I now have a legitimate reason to look at wedding stuff!  But now I worry about how I’m supposed to plan certain things.  I guess I’ll have questions to ask of the community soon.

My now fiancée and I are both systems analysts, and my hobby is to design web interfaces and applications.  I love looking at all the various design elements and styles showcased here.

Hello! Well I am having a bee themed wedding. Not a big bee theme but a small subtle bee theme. My FI’s last name is Beasy so it works! But that is how I found this site – guess what you google bee + wedding and this is the first thing you get!

I have been engaged since this past September and we are getting married September 5, 2009 on the mighty Mississippi River. Ok not on the river but overlooking it from the bluffs in Memphis.

I just love this site. I love the energy, excitement, ideas…everything on it is wonderful!

Hi Everyone!! I’m definitely a newbee, so I wanted to say hello. I met my fiance in undergrad (he was a grad student), and after 2.5 years of dating we got engaged over July 4th weekend 2008. I grew up in England, and he’s a Georgia boy, and we’re getting married 10/10/09 in London. I’m so glad i’ve found this website, as i’ve been SO disappointed with all the other options out there. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, and I’m excited to be a part of all of this. I have tons of questions and can’t wait to start getting involved. Looks like my work productivity is about to start a steady downward trend!

@hypobuggy – Minneapolis!  Yay!  We just went to Bovey, MN last month to get our new puppy.  It was a 14 hour drive.  We really wanted to stop at the Mall of America but we didn’t have time on the way up and on the way back we couldn’t leave the puppy alone in the car
