This was posted back on page 1 of this thread, but it’s so gorgeous I’ll post it again!

Monique Lhuillier “Candy”

Interestingly, I looked back at the very first issue of Brides mag that I bought a day or so after we got engaged, and saw I had flagged this dress.  On the same page, tucked in the corner, was my dress (it’s also blush tulle, but a fraction of the price)!  It would be fun to see everyone’s dream vs. reality.

I saw this on SYTTD and LOOOOOVED it!! I think they said it was over $20,000! When the girl tried it on it look absolutely gorgeous!! If I had this dress (which would mean I’m a millionaire lol) I would have gotten married in a castle!! Absolutely dreamy!

I found this one way before I was engaged…  I love the idea of a non-white dress.

Do you all think that it is bad that I do not have a dream dress? I have been looking online and in magazines for a few months but have yet to find one that is my “dream dress.” I haven’t tried on any bridal gowns (I have an appointment in 6 days) so I am hoping that once I try one gowns it will help me decide on what I really want. Does anyone else feel like this?

My dream dress is the “Gemma” by Vera Wang, and I’m thrilled that I have been fortunate enough to purchase it.

I saved a photo of it ages ago as “inspiration”, and didn’t think I would get to actually wear the real thing.

Mine would be “Naomi” by Jenny Yoo, if my body was made for it! I did try on some Jenny Yoo dresses, but they didn’t quite have the same effect on me. I think this dress is divine.

My dream dress is actually my wedding dress!  I cannot even think of another dress that I want because I love it so much.  I fell in love with Maggie Sottero’s gowns from the time I started looking.  I then went to try on some dresses and found Decadence, which was so fantastic on.  I am a plus sized bride and felt pretty small in that dress!  I wasn’t in love with it though.  So I left the store without buying it.  I also wasn’t about to spend that amount of money on a dress.  So I started to think about renting Decadence from a shop who rents dresses.  Well thank God I didn’t.  Instead I started searching preowned wedding dress sites and I ended up finding Bianca.  I am going to be a first time bride at 36 years old and I really don’t feel comfortable wearing the traditional ballgown which Decadence is.  It is more fitting for a younger bride.  The sophistication behind Bianca was exactly what I was looking for.  And I was able to get it priced at less than 50 percent off what I was going to pay if I bought Decadence.  So yes, I am a very lucky bride, who is lucky in love with my dream dress, Bianca, by Maggie Sottero!  Thanks to J’aime Bridal of Pleasanton California!
