Ok…I’m no longer shopping for dresses since I’m a Mrs. now.  However, I wanted to play.  Interesting thing is that although I thought I’d go for the $24,000 dress, I went for $6000 and below.  I like simple elegant and this is one I came across when I was dress shopping and that I still adore.

Luckily, my dream dress isn’t thousands and thousands of dollars. It clocks in right around $990, plus alterations and taxes. That’s still more than I’d like to spend, but if it fits me right I will probably splurge on it. I have yet to go look at it in person, but I’m worried that being 5’2″ and hourglass shaped will make me look ridiculous. Like, my boobs won’t fit, or my hips will look comical with the wrap and brooch accenting them. Worth a shot though! I hate strapless, I love satin, and the neckline is very classy and I think would draw your eyes up to my face rather than down to the rest of me.

I actually take back my previous posts on this board, because I’m not even thinking of that Lazaro or Jim Hjelm (Both of which I was in love with for four years!)…I’ve found my dream dress.  Maggie Sottero’s Divina

It’s a little more than I wanted to spend, but i’ve made a plan to make it work in our budget.  I still feel gulity about it, because I always feel guilty when I splurge on myself.  My fiance has been very reassuring though.  He hasn’t seen the gown, but he knows how much I want it and he said that my happiness is worth going a little over budget and to not worry about it.

I love Vera Wang Diana, but it’s so expensive and unavailable in Poland.
