I would wear the Spanx. I did. It wasn’t that bad. Just make sure you get the right size and don’t stuff yourself into the size smaller. I was glad to take them off at the end of the night, some 9 hours probably after I put them on, but it was nice to feel contained and smooth and all.

beautiful dress. Don’t wait too long to get dress. I think 11 months is the normal time to get dress Smile

I bought spanx for myself.  I tried on my dress underneath and was amazed at the difference.  It’s really not that bad to wear (but then again I only worse them for about a few minutes), but I know I’ll be able to deal since I’ve worn shapers before.  =) You look absolutely gorgeous in your dress though.

Welcome to the hive!  =)

Wow your curves look amazing! I think the dress is super flattering on you and you can’t really see your stomach due to the rouching! I think wanting to try your dress on isn’t weird! I tried mine on twice! I think get measured as you are natrually because they can always alter it if its too big

Your dress may take 4-5 months in productions but you may need 3-4 months for alterations as well so give yourself enough time.

You are totally right about your dress! It really shows off your curves! Stunning! If you are worried about being comfortable in spanx all day, wear them all day under your regular clothes and see how it feels.  Consider ordering your dress in the current size with a corset style back.  That way you can tighten the laces if you shrink a little.

@KendraLeigh:  Hey! So we have the same dress! My wedding is coming up FAST! I’ve gone through a few fittings and made some changes to the dress itself.  But something I’ve learned is… I’m busty and the dress had to be taken in through the area- I had originally bought the SPANXX ‘dress’ with the cups and dress like figure hugging style.  But Spanxx falls down/ didn’t hold up the girls!  I was better off buying a Bustier to pull me in and hold the girls up! { No i’m not falling out of it!}

I also lost 10 lbs recently from wedding stress and the dress had to be taken in on the left side (Not with the beading!).

I am still considering also wearing the Spaxx that are like HIGH shorts… keep those thighs in check! Let me know how you make out!!

I am a SPANX wearer and lover. I would not recommed the “dress” style though, as that one always moves around on me.

Get the long-line shorts that go from your bra line to mid thigh.

They are amazing, and will make anything you wear look so much smoother.
