canadajane: I agree, I think I narrowed my must-haves list to about 40 for things I will buy and add to my registry all combined. I hate accumulating extra stuff and having things not being used. I don’t want to have too many clothes for baby, they grow so fast and need clothes at every stage. Just a few outfits should do.

not sure if you’d consider it a “must have,” but for me it was a lifesaver… moby wrap. any sort of carrier would be great, but i preferred the moby for my newborn. it was great to have my hands back when she wouldn’t let me put her down. it was also great for bringing her around those first few family gatherings, where even strangers constantly wanted to hold her. they’d take one look at her all snug and comfy and not dare disturb her.

oh.. also velcro swaddles. my gal would not sleep without being all tucked in. the snap ones are not fun to readjust at 3am.

Ahh this is why I love the Bee. So much good information, thank you all! Keep it coming if you have other thoughts.
Haha thesaurus_rex: we got a hand-me-down Boba wrap from a friend and it’s still a bit of a mystery to us, but hopefully some kind of carrier will work well for us because hands-free sounds key.
And thank goodness for Prime and Netflix!
