I’ve been going on Weddingbee ever since I got engaged which as a little over a month ago and I finally registered.
Me and my fiance (it feels so good saying that) have been together for a little over 3 years and a half, and I’m so happy to be engaged.
I am 20 and he is 21 so we are still in school and living at our parents houses. I keep hearing that we are too young to be engaged, have any other bees experienced this and how did you cope with it? We are also going to have a long engagement since we will be paying for the wedding and need time to save up. How do we deal with a long engagement and when should we start perparing and planning for the wedding?
Thank you for the future help bees and I’m so happy to get your feedback.

Age ain’t nothing but a number. 🙂 You aren’t too young. You’ve been with eachother long enough to know… everyone will have something to say or think. In the end it comes down to you and him.
I don’t have much to say about the planning and preparing for the long engagement though. (I’m doing it in 9 months..eeks!) But what I can say is try your best to remain stress-free (easier said than done- I’m going gray) and have fun with it!
Best of luck!

Aww yeah I know just what you mean because I want to plan now too!!! but I know if I do it so early I might change my mind down the road.We haven’t done anything yet and i mean anything. Thats what im scared of that since we have so much time we will just postpone stuff nad then we will have to rush to get things done lol.

You have an advantage with having a long engagement: Considering how far in advance people usually have to book, you are super likely to get the venue(s), photographer and caterer (if it applies) of your choice! – I’d start booking those big details now!
