What city/state would you like to be in? How many people do you need to accommodate?

I don’t know where you live so I cant reccomend anything specifically. However I also was shocked at venue prices. I found a small family owned vineyard an hour or hour and a half away though and used them. It ended up being a lovely location and very affordable. They had 2 or 3 spots I could’ve used for my wedding. I only remember the barn and a lake. I ended up picking under the pavilion by the lake. I don’t think it was more than 1000 to1500ish for both ceremony and reception so I was really happy because our whole budget for the entire thing was 5k Maybe a bit further out into the country you might find a place like that?

I would go with a hotel if I were you or a restaurant reception. There are lots of places such as barns which charge a fee then you have to hire caterers/ linens/ dishes etc on Top which can really add up and be more expensive.
