@bella731:  I’m sure I’m much more paranoid than you!  Haha.  I’ve only been engaged a little over a month, and I take my ring off a lot.

I don’t always take it off when I wash my hands, but only because I’m afraid I’ll knock it down the drain (especially in a public place).

I don’t wear it in the shower, when I’m cooking, when I’m cleaning (including washing dishes), when I work out, when I sleep, and (probably the weirdest thing I do) I don’t wear it to work.  This probably isn’t really that weird, though, since I work in a lab and worry I’d constantly rip my gloves with it.  Since I work with a lot of dangerous chemicals, that’s not a risk I’d be willing to take.

I never take my ring off with the exception of putting on lotion. Then its right beside me and back on my finger as soon as its rubbed in. She’s doing fine so far.

I only take it off when I’m putting moisturizer on my hands.

I have only been taking my ring off when I have been showering.  The few exceptions to that is I work in the medical field and when I could really harm a patient, I put it in my scrub pocket.  Otherwise when I put gloves on, it gets turned around with the diamond by my palm.  I can put gloves on no problem then!

I have mine off more than I have it on! I really love wearing it but I don’t wear it while working, showering, sleeping or doing anything else where my hands may get dirty..lol

When I do wear it I stare at it a lot though!

I take mine off when washing my hands, doing any housework where I’m using cleaners, washing dishes, showering, sleeping… I am still a little paranoid!

I never take my ring off unless I’m cleaning the ring itself!

I’ve only been engaged for a few days but I am so paranoid that I will get it all dirty or the stone will fall out! I take it off all the time but I always make sure to put it in my jewelry box when I do. I take it off when I wash my hands, do dishes, cook, clean, shower, put on lotion, when I sleep at night…. I bought some pretty nice ring cleaner from a jeweler yesterday though so that might quell some of my ‘omg my ring is going to get dirty!’ panic.

Mostly when I’m cooking, especially if I’m mixing meat or doughs. I also take it off for doing dishes or showering. That’s about it though. I sleep with it and wear it to the gym. It’s a great distraction if you are trying to hold a plank pose in yoga! 😉

I take it off most of the time when I am home, I never sleep with it on or wear it in the shower. I just feel paranoid I will be cleaning and banging it on something and the stone will get loose.

I take it off when sleeping, showering, and when I know I am in for the night.
