Thank you so much! I seriously searched for over 6 months for the perfect stone! Padparadaschas are known for being peachy pink, but they are usually much more saturated. I was lucky to find a pale one (which also made it cheaper).
It does look different in certain lights. It can sometimes look more champagne/peach and other times it can look almost colorless. I love it though!

I’d say your searching paid off! That is one gorgeous stone and I’m very envious 🙂

Congrats OP! That ring is gorgeous.
All of these rings are so beautiful! I love yellow gold, and hardly wear white gold or silver.
Here’s my ring!

Where is your setting from? Are your prongs also yellow gold? I REALLY love your ring!!

I’m an older encore bride who had yellow gold before. I pictured myself in white, however Fiance really prefers yellow gold. When I saw this on Etsy it took my breath away – now I can’t imagine anything else but yellow! This is a not so great pic of my teal sapphire…

I want yellow gold, but since I don’t consider it “in” I always feel almost EMBARRASSED when I tell my friends that’s what I want.
It’s so silly, your engagement ring is for just you, but for some reason I feel like I need to explain why I want yellow gold.
These rings are all BEAUTIFUL though.

I hear you. E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E is doing wgold or platinum nowadays and I think the sentiment, for some reason, is that yellow gold is “so old school” or some crap. Even my Fiance knew I liked yellow or rose gold, but he thought the wgold went better with my tan skin. Yet I have a ygold necklace and earrings. Team yellow gold. Since I’m passing down my wgold three stone heirloom to my daughter someday, I’ve begun working on a yellow gold with fancy yellow stones channeled in it or something. Can’t wait. But, anyway, who gives two hoots what others might think about you sporting a yellow gold ring. They don’t get it.

My setting is from here: http://www.uniquesettings.com/
; It was ordered through my local jewler that I’ve been going to for years (not in NY). I think this is the actual one: http://www.uniquesettings.com/products/show/9288
; The prongs are yellow too.
