My fiance asked me to marry her on January 3, 2014, and our wedding date is planned for January 3, 2015.
On one hand a year seems like forever and yet other times it seems like I will never get everything accomplished in that time frame.
Allow me to introduce myself: My name is Rhiannon and my fiance is Jody. We live in Georgia and thanks to the bible belt our first main feat was finding a church that would allow us to marry in it (luckily we did).
I’m definitely looking forward to the rest of the planning and am glad to be here.

We are members of a LGBT church however sadly our church doesn’t actually have a “home”, we are currently using a meeting space in a hotel, but our wonderful pastor made some phone calls for us and talked to some friends and found us a beautiful location at a fraction of the cost of the “rental churches” in town.
Things are falling into place, which makes us both feel extremely blessed. It was discouraging to call around and be told no repeatedly and even get “counciled” a time or two.
