If you love it so much why are you asking?? Congrats on your engagement!

Your ring is beautiful, I love Amethyst stones, they are so beautiful, it’s my birthstone.

BEAUTIFUL ring, from one amethyst wearer to another! 🙂

People are rude. Ignore them and keep staring at how sparkly your ring is.

(Also, I don’t recommend this, but feel free to think “at least I have a ring, idiot”…./whistles innocently)

I personally prefer your ring over any diamond ring. I love it, very classy!

That’s absolutely gorgeous, screw anyone who says “What? Not a diamond?”.

Well clearly it’s not a “traditional” engagement ring but it doesn’t sound like you’d want that anyway. If you love it then that’s all that matters.  Be prepared for MORE people not getting it or not identifying it as an engagement ring. You can’t change what they believe (as silly as it might be…).

I love it – it’s beautiful! Who cares what people say – as long as you love it since you are the one wearing it!

Just ignore all the non-diamond people. It has become linked in culture that diamonds = engagement, so its not necissarily people being rude. They just don’t know.

I have heirloom diamonds as my sidestones, but my main stone if a ruby. I love it more than a diamond. Its much more me. 😀

It IS an engagment ring! It’s the ring that your Fiance chose (and you) to become married.  Very pretty, btw.

If that makes you happy,  then it shouldn’t really matter.  I’m engaged but haven’t gotten a ring.  It doesn’t bother me at all ’cause I’m not too much into wearing jewlery so I told my fiance to just pick it out and give it to me a week or so before the wedding, otherwise I might lose it.  It seems to bother others who don’t really know me but my close friends know why I’m not wearing a ring just yet, and I’m happy like that Smile.

Oh and not in every culture diamond equals engagement.
