Hi all! This is fun!
I’m 31, and I live in NYC. I married my hubby 6 months ago in Colorado, near where we both grew up. I had a perfect wedding, in my mind, but that doesn’t keep me from wishing I would have done some of the cool things I’ve seen since. 🙂
I am a resident physician so that doesn’t leave me a ton of free time. My hubby works with mentally disabled adults. Our biggest challenge right now is that I work days, typically 6am-6pm, and he works 3pm-11pm. So we don’t see each other (awake) on weeknights. I have the weekend off about half the time, and he almost always does, so that’s the only time we get to spend together. But we are making the most of it and looking forward to the day when we can both have “real” jobs and see each other every single day!
My post wedding planning life has been full of holiday prep (at first) and studying, but I am now done with all of that for a while and trying to focus my free time on other productive pursuits! I’ve been going to the gym more and trying to do something active every day. And working on my abs in preparation for baby duke, hopefully in the next couple years or so. 🙂
This is great – I constantly lurk around the boards and haven’t commented much since the wedding. Maybe introducing myself will inspire me to contribute and be a little more social!

I am MissGreen and I married the love of my life on the 4th of July, so about 9mths of actually being married and I love it! I honestly do not miss a thing about single life or life before marriage and we have really settled into it comfortably. We have been togethor a little over 3 years.
We live in Ohio, and the weekend he proprosed, we actually had an appointment with a building contractor and ending up signing one. Well right after the wedding our house was started and now its our home and one of our greatest blessings. I am a nurse and back in school to futher my degree but am having second thoughts on if I truly want to continue, because…we are starting to try for a little green one this month. Despite the negativity, we are so happy and excited and cannot wait.
I love, love to cook and bake. My cooking combined with us trying to relax and be home with each other for once in our relationship, has caused us to put on the wedding lbs! I hate it, but only want to lose a few pounds and get back in shape before getting pregnant so I can already be eating healthier and working out more during pregnancy.
Dont know what else to say!
Love this thread!

Heyooo, hive! I am melissabegins and my Darling Husband and I married in December ’09 @ the Rockhouse in Negril, Jamaica. It’s our dream place! We live in Florida with our 2 kitties and are originally from the northeast. I enjoy music, food, art, and traveling. I’m a big fan of my new name, and the fact that my name is officially the same as a Spice Girl 😉 I am trying to start my own business this year (invitation / stationery design) b/c I tend to march to the beat of my own drum and am ready for the challenge. Stay classy, weddingbees!

Hey Hey Hey!
I am hisbunny, and I just got married 5 days ago to the love of my life. He is 19 and I am 21 and are living in ND. He moved here in January, and I moved here about 3 days ago. DH works at a meat company as a computer analyst and I am a homemaker and about to graduate with my bachelors. (he graduated in December)
I love singing, playing the piano and harp, traveling, talking/skyping with my friends, food, and Jesus. I’m going to be learning about a new place at the same time as being married, and am totally stoked to be a wife.
Nice to be back to WB after our little honeymoon…. reading about 15 pages of back logs on the blog section.

Hehe, it’s the same here! Well, I’m in my twenties, and hubs in his thirties… and it took one year and a half to get engaged; and another year to get married… but I knew very soon and him too, he’s just very analytical and thinks a lot before acting on things… so, let’s just say for us, it’s just like we only dated a few months…
When you know, you know. I was with someone else for 6 years bf getting with Darling Husband (a week after ending my other relationship, may sound awful, but it really is not because of the circumstances) and even if at that point, I didn’t feel ready for something serious, he did not give up on me and we knew pretty early on that this was it. From our first conversation, it felt like we always knew each other…

I’m okqueenbee (it feels so weird to introduce myself with a “fake” name lol) and me and “mr. ok” have been married since December 4, 09. We live in OKC in a cute but small house, and have a list of home projects lined up for this year. We just finished the bathroom a few days ago and it looks great! We plan to live in this house for about 2 years before buying a bigger one. I am 29 and he is 34 and we don’t have any kids as of yet. We have decided to hold off on children for a couple of years and just enjoy “quiet” married life for awhile 😉 We have 2 cats and a dog and for fun we like to watch movies or just grab a cup of coffee from somewhere and drive around talking for hours 🙂

I’m J. I was born and raised in California which is where my husband and I currently reside! We’re getting ready to move to Oahu, Hawaii in May and we’re beyond excited about it! I Seriously feel so extremely blessed to have the amazing life and husband that I have.
Technically, we’ve been married for a little over 10 months (Legally married May 13, 2009), but we just had our big shabang ceremony on March 13th 🙂
My husband is in the Navy and I am so proud of all that he does. He puts his heart into everything he does and it is apparent to me that he loves his job and respects his country.
School and work are currently on hold for me because of the upcoming move and I’ve never been so bored in my life! I’m used to going to school and working at least 2 jobs to pay for said schooling. Now that we’re married he is going to transfer over some of his GI bill to me so I can finally go to school and not have to stress about the money it’s going to cost to fund my education (see what I mean? He’s amazing!) I’m plan to finish up my bachelors degree in Psychology and I hope to go on t o do great things 🙂
Last, but not least, we have a pug named Bella (that’s where Bella13 came from) and I love her so much! She’s coming up on 9 months old and I couldn’t imagine our life without her!

We live in San Francisco, but are moving to Portland, OR in less than 2 months. We have 2 cats, Case and Coconut, that are pretty much our fur children. I can’t wait to have real children, but we’re waiting a couple of years 🙂

Its so great to be able to picture some of the faces/ backgrounds with the names!
I am Jenn and we were married Dec 5 09 and it seems like forever ago! We found out two weeks before the wedding that we were expecting our first baby. Our focus went from wedding to baby as soon as we got back from our honeymoon. We are expecting a baby boy and are so excited.
We have spent the last few months getting our house ready to sell and should be moving by May into a temporary rental house. We also have my awesome stepson 50% of the time and two dogs. So having another boy will just add to the craziness that is our life…Never a dull moment around here. We live Louisville KY but I grew up in Dallas and will always be a Texas girl at heart. We are both in the Air National Guard…I fly C130’s and hubby is a maintenance scheduler for our aircraft. We spent 5 days on a work trip to Transylvania, Romania and were inseparable by the time we got home and we were married just prior to our 2 year dating anniversary.
So great to officially meet everyone!
