I would say that you need to start with your budget. See what you can afford and what it is that you want. If you can afford it then have them done by someone. There are a ton of really talented people on Etsy that do beautiful invitations. Or you can look on Vistaprint or places like that to print them.

We don’t have a huge budget at all and I finally gave up trying to find something I loved that was cheap. I found a set that I loved on a website and then recreated it on Photoshop. I’m going to buy cardstock and have them printed somewhere, havn’t decided on that yet. Just take your time and find something you love, don’t rush into anything.

We contacted a seller on etsy. We found an STD we liked of hers, but it was priced out for printing. Since we have Visaprint Groupons, we asked if she would send us a PDF file of a STD we wanted and she’s only charging us $20.00 for that (and we have our $7.00 for $70.00 worth of Vistaprint Groupon). Plus, we’ll get 20% off our wedding invites since we got our Save-The-Date Cards through her. Hopefully she’ll do the PDF again for us for those.

Anyway, I’d keep my eyes out for a Vistaprint Groupon deal and then hunt down a seller on etsy that you like and see if they’ll do a PDF for you. This method fit into our budget quite nicely.
