Maybe you can try to explain how much it would mean to you to have them there. If they still resist then you know where their priorities are and they won’t think about your feeling first.

@Megan316:  I feel your pain.  My brother that I used to be very close with, told me that he would not “accomodate my schedule” on the wedding day; as in, he wouldn’t take the day off of work nor would he rush to get his kids where they needed to be (they were supposed to be in the wedding).    He knew what day the wedding was (date and day of week) over a year and a half ago. 

But I can see how your only sisters wedding shouldn’t matter.   Not.

Yeah I know there are no obligations of Bridepersons (I’ve got male/female) but everytime I read things like that I feel blessed how involved they already all are despite all being across the country. I’m sorry about their behavior! Don’t let it bring you down. Congrats!!
