summerbride0815:  The ones I preferred were the ones where the bride shopped for us as if it were our birthday. We all received individual gifts chosen for our taste and interests.

Just remember if it’s a prop for your pictures, it’s not  a gift, and that includes bridesmaid robes, tee shirts (especially anything with “Bridesmaid” or their name on it since no one would wear that otherwise) ,jewelry, etc.

I kind of went overboard on my bridesmaids, but only had three of them! I paid for hair/makeup. Also bought them each cute travel type bags that I filled with goodies. each bag had an infinity scarf, (that we took a few pics with, since it was a fall wedding) necklace to wear that day, personalized wine glasses for them to use at the reception and then candy and treats that they love! It was fun to spoil them after they did so much for me leading up to the wedding! I know that they esp loved the scarf and I have seen each of them wear it since! =)

one of the weddings i was in i received a really nice robe, it was the stretchy material one and a personalized wine glass I really liked and still use both of them.. In another wedding I was in I received a personalized big bag and I still use it on a regular basis it’s big enough where i can put my work stuff in it and it also has a zipper on top which I love… I also received a wine glass with my name on it from that wedding and a personalized wine bottle.. oh and personalized picture frames…

for my wedding.. So far I got my bridesmaids personalized robes, a small glass jewelry box with their names on it and the earrings for the wedding in it. I also got them a tote but it’s not personalized I just got it so I can put all of their gifts in it and it’s nice enough that they can use it after…. for the girls that are going on my bachelorette party I got them personalized flasks with different sayings for example: “girls with class dont need a glass” or “alcohol because no great story ever started with a salad” and their nicknames on the flasks as well.

missskay24:  I would have loved to be a bridesmaid in your weddings! Very cute and creative gifts!

I’ve been a bridesmaid twice before for my cousin’s and my best friend’s weddings. For both of those, they paid for my hair to get done for the wedding day and also got jewlery to wear for the wedding day.

No idea whether my girls used the diamond candles or minimergency kits I got them, but they definitely appreciated the insoles for their shoes and post-photo flip flops. Don’t forget the practical stuff! (:

My friend got me an amazing leather purse (I was the unofficial MOH), a tote bag, two awesome picnic/beach towels, and a great insulated stainless steel water bottle thingy.

I got my girls a striped beach tote bag, a beach towel, heart-shaped sunnies, a makeup bag, tiaras, cute blue bathrobes for the pre-wedding makeup/hair party, the wedding jewelry, and giftcards.   They still use the stuff to this day so I’m guessing they liked it all, LOL.

summerbride0815:  I got my girls a bag full of goodies and it cost me just at 100 each! I was on a hunt to make it perfect. They loved them…

Dancing shoes for reception, a glitter coach Wristlet, pashmina bc it was a feb wedding and it could have been chilly (I’m in FL), Pearl stud earrings (they didn’t have to wear them the wedding day but they loved them and most wore them), a makeup bag full of useful products for the weekend, tissues and note cards with their initials. I also got them a jean chambray shirt for getting ready photos but I didn’t count that as a gift.

I got lmine robes, then a Kate spade wallet in their favorite colors and the above earring for them to wear on the wedding day. I think shopping for them was the most fun so I went overboard. I’m also paying for their hair and make up. I should have gone more personal but couldn’t get these wallets out of my head. I really just wish I hadnt chosen 5 bridesmaids lol
