Looking on Minted and it seems they don’t offer the nicer inner envelopes. Is this still done? Is it considered nicer to have it? I’m springing for nicer paper, etc, so I’m just not sure whether it would look like an oversight if I didn’t have a nicer envelope within the outer mailing envelope.

I had inner and out envelopes. I thought minutes a nice touch. I got my envelopes from Cards and Pockets. Maybe the have ones that will work for you?

When receiving them, I have always wondered why. To me, it seems like a bit much paper. Just a personal opinion. Looks nice though for sure.

I had inner envelopes as well as reception cards in addition to the other components of a traditional invitation suite. I don’t know much about Minted, but I used Crane for mine.

I’m doing inner envelopes and ordered mine from Cards & Pockets as well.

For those using cards and pockets for the inner envelopes, are you getting all other components elsewhere and getting just the inner envelopes from cards and pockets?

I did, and got tons of compliments on them. If you want to I’d say go for it!

I got everything – pocketfolds, mats for invites, outer envelopes, inner envelopes, and RSVP envelopes from C&P and can’t recommend enough. I’m getting my invites and inserts printed locally, or else I would have also had C&P do them as well.
