@Nona99:  My dad calls my sister and I “monkey face”, so I call my sister “monkey” which is often shortened to “munk”.

My mom used to call me Taco (which is a long story that involves my real name) so I started calling her Enchilada.

The man calls me his Cutie Koala which is so annoying when I write it 😛

We have a family friend that I only know as “Early Man” because that’s what everyone calls him. Why? Apparently because he LOOKS like “early man”… as in not quite totally evolved. Yeah… with friends like that….

My parents call me Skid (four-wheeling accident) and whitterbuggz (my names Whitney and I used to love bugzbunny-don’t know if I spelled that right).

In highschool I was called Gimp and sometimes even know I’m called it. It was because every year during the first week of each of my sports I would sprain something. I played all three seasons each year in high school so that’s alot of doctor visits.

Wifey and I are Rhino and Stove, or Lovey-butt and Otter-bucket.  One set comes from the theatre, the others were just picked up over the years.  I do like being able to call her my “significant otter”.

I got the nickname Duchess from my parents when I was a kid because apparently I was a priss, and calling me “Queen” or “Princess” gave me too much power and would go straight to my head, but calling me “Countess” just sounded weird 😉 It’s stuck and everyone I’m close with still calls me it.

My parents/family mostly just call me a shortened version of my name.

Darling Husband will call me Snuggle Bumpkin or Snapping turtle (usually because I’m being a bitch)

His nicknames are: Sneasle (long story and it wasn’t until about 2 years after the naming that we found out it’s a poke’mon. that just made it funnier), and Goldfish (I swear the man has no short term memory!)

to my family I am chongi lol don’t ask me how that came about but it was given to me as a child and never went away. Or Marie parie. Or Mareeka. My name is Marie…

we have a thing for strange nick names in my family I guess…. My son is Meesh lol it started with matthew (his real first name) and my mom would call him matthew matthew, that evolved into matchoo matchoo, which evolved into meechoo meechoo, then to meeshoo meeshoo, finally it was just meeshoo and now its meesh. But really only me and my sister call him that. His dad will say “hey is the meesh there? let me talk to him”.

My sister is woogs. That came from sugar, to suga, to suga wooga, then woogs.

see? we are all terrible with nick names.

My aunt used to call me Shit Bucket.  I call my sister Terd and she calls me Nerd.  In college I was known as Booger (from Revenge of the Nerds) because I could belch louder than any guy.  Most people pretty much just call me by name though.

When I was 5, I went through a 5 month period where I ONLY answered to “MyFirstMiddleLast-And-Allie”. My poor family/friends.

My mom calls me URMBG (pronounced erm-bug) because when I was younger, she would always say “You are my beautiful girl” and eventually shortened it.

My entire immediate family calls me Sissy when talking about me within the family, since I’m the oldest. “Go tell Sissy we’re leaving in 5 minutes” type stuff.

Fiance calls me Babu and Bug. We both kept accidentally typing Babu instead of Baby on our phones and it just stuck. Bug because my initials when we get married will be ANT.

Future Mother-In-Law calls me “Little A” because for a while Future Brother-In-Law called be “Big A” and she would protest, saying “SHE’S NOT A BIG PERSON, SHE’S REALLY LITTLE”.

Funny story- nobody knows how this happened, but my dad and uncle both call each other “Butch”. I’ve known him my whole life as “Uncle Butch” and his kids have always known my dad as “Uncle Butch”. Neither one of them can remember how it started, but it sure is funny when our families get together and there are two “Butch”s.
