@zippylef:  Congrats on Sugar Bee status!

I guess it’s not that late for the West Coast Bees yet.  It’s 2am in my parts.  And it’s 85 degrees in my house.  Too hot to sleep Money mouth

2:45 here! Yes I’m up. On watch until 4:45 again. Feeling a little irritable tonight, and it all has to do with the atrocious grammar and speech everyone around me is using. Lol I should have been an english teacher instead- then maybe my aggravation would be justified. ๐Ÿ˜›

“They should be more observitant!” “I seen that happen” “We was making a roux” etc etc etc

Makes me grate my teeth and want to pull my hair out! lol

3:57 am here in MD. So nauseous it woke me up the middle of the night and now I can’t go back to bed.

Not an insomniac…..I actually work 11pm-7am.  Sucks on my days off because then I’m up all night and I hate to waste the day sleeping…..

But its good because that means my days are free to run errands when it is less busy and go to functions.  I can pretty much sleep through anything so sleeping during the day isn’t a problem for me!

I’m up too!  Another PDT here.   I’m terrible with my sleep schedule sometimes.

@MrsJKH2be- I never liked the night shift for that same reason. I’d sleep the day away (or most of it) and sometimes the days are just too pretty! If it was all overcast and icky outside I’d be more ok with it. haha ๐Ÿ™‚ But if I don’t “catch up” on my sleep, I get kinda worthless.

@Jazziberry:  Its not too bad!  If its a nice day out or I want to do stuff during the day, I make sure to set my alarm ealry – and then take a little nap before I have to come in.  I’m not a morning person so when I was on the day shift and I had to wake up at 5:30 I was miserable (and not to mention I would come home and take a 2 hour nap!!).

@MrsJKH2be- do you always work the night shift or does it rotate? I work 6 hours on/6 hours off so I am up in the middle of the night and afternoons when I am at work. I do that for 30 days, then I’m completely off for 15 days before coming back to work again.

I wish this blackberry would allow me to press the handy little “reply” link below posts, but alas, it does not work.

@Jazziberry:  I work 4 days on, then 2 off.  I have least seniority here so I am stuck on 3rd shift until someone bumps me off –  I’ve been on it for 6 months now – was on 1st shift for 3 months before that and then 2nd shift before that.  I’m glad I don’t have a rotating on like yours!  I can barely keep track of the days as it is!
