My fiance and I are getting married in August and while we are both Muslim, the rest of my family is not. As a result, we would like to have our Nikah in a comfortable environment for my family and thus would like to have it at home. Does anyone have contact information for an Imam who woulld be willing to perform the Nikah at home?

Someone else more knowledgeable can chime in, but, from the people I know, Muslim weddings/ceremonies are very different from Catholic ones in that Muslim ceremonies have much fewer requirements. Muslim marriage ceremonies do not have to be performed by an Imam or at a mosque. Depending on your practice, a Muslim marriage ceremony can usually be performed by any Muslim man in any location and it just requires the presence of a certain number of (usually) Muslim witnesses. So you could do it anywhere or any event that you’d do a non-Muslim ceremony (like at some wedding venue or at home)
