http://countrybrideandgent.com/  in West Point, Pa. Ask for Barb – she’s a real gem. We bought gowns from there, for my daughter’s wedding and my daughter’s friend just bought all her gowns from there, too.

I agree with weatherbug. I had a great experience at Castle Couture and bought my dress there. They have a great selection.

The Bridal Garden in Marlton, NJ.  Loved my dress buying experience there 🙂

I second Bridal Garden. I had a woman named Kai, I believe. She was really helpful. I’m larger, older, and needed to walk out with a dress. She was patient and helpful.

I am in central NJ also! I went to several local shops as well as one in PA. My favorite was i do i do in Morristown, NJ. http://www.idoidonj.com/ They let my mom take photos AND they took their own photos and uploaded the images so I could see them right away. They have a huge front window so I could see the dress in natural light which was important as I was getting married outside. They only sell items for the bride so have a huge selection of accessories.

My worst experience was with Bridal Garden in Marlton.  The saleslady was insulting of my size over the phone (street size 14) and they told me not to bother driving to their shop as they had nothing for me.

I went to Bijou Bridal in Ardmore but wouldn’t buy from them as they don’t allow photographs.  Their policy changes periodically, so they said, so it may be different now.  They had a nice selection but weren’t all that helpful as far as suggestions.  I had to pick out my own to try on, which was ok.  Very nice large mirrors, but no natural light in the dressing/mirrored area.  I really wanted to see what color the dresses were, and it was impossible under fluorescent lights.
