Where did you guys try on dresses (aside from David’s Bridal)? I just want to be able to fit into a sample gown somewhere lol – street size 16/18 – more a 16. Where can I go?! I have given myself a deadline of before Thanksgiving to have the gown for my wedding next July.
As a side note – if any of you bees are in NJ- Morris county area- I’m kicking my workout into high gear and would love a workout buddy- so feel free to message me!

@sunkissed19: RKbridal in Manhattan. It was pretty good if your not looking for the boutique experience. They limit the number of dresses you can try on but they did have a good selection (30+ dresses), albeit way smaller than the “average sizes”. The lady did bend the rules with me because it was a weekday but when I went on a weekend, they toss you in and toss you out. When my friend was getting married she went to Lestan Bridal in Brooklyn, which I wouldnt recommend if your not desperate. Macy’s Bridal was a nightmare!!!! They had only 3 dresses and there were all thw wrong shape for my body type. I went to the Alfred Angelo in New Jersey and they had some dresses in lplus sizes but they weren’t for me. I would have gone to Cherry Hill NJ, there are like 3 plus size boutiques for bridal dresses, but I dont drive so pick up, altertions and such would have been a mega hassel. But I found my dress at DBs. <3
By The Way I am a 22-24 in DB, 18-20 street, so yeah I had the opportunity to squeeze into quite a few dresses. 🙂
