Hello!! I recently got engaged and i’m looking for a venue in new jersey. I’m looking for a big venue that has a princess feel, im a sucker for some big chandeliers. I’m not into rustic venues and i feel like thats what most halls are catering too now. My budget is 75,000 with 200-250 guests. Does anyone have any venue suggestions?

Not sure what area of NJ you’re in, but the Ryland Inn is seriously lovely and grand without the typical Jersey cliches. I didn’t go see it, but the photos look amazing. I also loved Bonnet Island/Mallard Island on LBI. And Congress Hall in Cape May is sort of unique, but still totally beautiful. I know people also love Clark’s Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant.

I visited Ryland Inn and it has a rustic country chic feeL. So you may not like it.
you may really like Addison Park. If thats too expensive I have been to a wedding at The Gramercy which from the outside is not impressive but when I went into the ballroom I was in awe and there we’re chandeliers everywhere! So check them out!!

FutureMrsEife: you shouldn’t have too much of an issue with your budget. Check out the palace in Somerset. We checked it out for a possible venue choice but due to budgetary concerns, decided to go for the manor instead. My cousin for married at the crystal palace, the food was amazing and the ballroom was beautiful. Also try naninas, pleasantdale chateau and ryland inn. Good luck with the wedding planning!

has anyone been to a wedding at the venetian since it has been re done? i heard that the two ballrooms share a bathroom and that you can hear the other ballroom in your room?
Also has anyone been at the park savoy? i loved the ashford estate but it ended up being about 10000 over budget, i feel like the park savoy has the same feel.

I would definitely check out The Atlantis Ballroom in the TR Hotel (was Holiday Inn) in Toms River. Completely reasonable prices and they are fantastic there!

Although this isn’t in NJ it’s on the stateline. The Pearl River Hilton has a princess feel and is a beautiful hotel. Also, The Jersey City Hyatt has beautiful views there is also a Westin in Jersey City it just isn’t on the water so the views are not as nice as the Hyatt.
Be careful with Bonnet Island, there are A LOT of flies and bugs because of the location.

FutureMrsEife: Park Savoy is amazing! Same owners as Nanina’s in the park. Big elegant wedding and I am in love with the Venetian. I didn’t notice the other ballroom when I was there not sure if maybe it was not booked at the time.
Both are amazing venues.
